Dear Prospective Families,
Thank you for considering Legacy Christian School for your child’s education! We are a young and growing K-8 school and are truly excited about what God has been doing since Legacy’s inception and to see what this coming school year will hold!
The vision for Legacy was planted in each of our hearts in different ways and at different times. Our administrative team, as well as each of our teachers have their own unique experiences working in Christian and public education, and the Lord in his sovereignty brought each of us together in various remarkable ways. This journey began shortly after Crossroads Church acquired the Auburn South Campus in 2016. God planted in our hearts a desire for a Christian K-8 school on that campus. After much prayer and seeking God’s direction and confirmation, our proposal for Legacy was presented to the Crossroads Church leadership. Startup costs were then determined and, in a few months, God overwhelmingly provided the finances required to cover all the initial startup costs. The school’s inaugural opening was September 4, 2019, and since that moment, God has continued to show Himself mighty, faithful, and trustworthy! We are truly grateful for His ongoing guidance and provision!
As we continue moving forward, we desire to honor and glorify God by continuing to pursue His plan and vision for the school. Everyone at Legacy has an unwavering commitment to genuinely love your children and care for their needs in a manner and environment that is nurturing, safe and uplifting. Discipleship is an imperative and intentional component of our program and we desire to see Jesus Christ at the center of your child’s education. We place a high value on each student’s uniqueness before God. Therefore, your children’s God-given styles of learning and growth in their walk with the Lord will be in the forefront of their educational experience.
Over the years of our existence, we’ve seen the staff, volunteers, students and families of Legacy Christian School truly become a family. Our prayer is that as you consider joining our Legacy family you would ask God to clearly show you if Legacy is the best fit for your child. Our desire is to partner with you in your child’s education as well as their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual development. We would love to speak with you personally, show you around, and answer any questions you might have. We are here to serve you.
